MUCC

Four member rock band (not Visual Kei!) which is composed of former high school mates (on the photo from right to left) Tatsuro (vocals), Yukke (bass), Miya (guitar) and Satochi (drums). The band was formed by Miya in 1997, with a different bassist, Hiro. Yukke replaced Hiro in 1999. Influenced by the band Cali Gari, hence MUCC are often called Cali Gari's »little brothers« (Tatsuro and Miya used to be roadies for Cali Gari).
MUCC have performed at more than 600 concerts. On June 9 (2005) they surprised their fans with a special performance. At 6:09 am they announced a so called »secret show« for the same day at 9:06 pm in Tokyo on their website. The tickets for this show sold out immediately.
In early August 2005 MUCC performed for the first time outside of Japan: on August 5 at the Wacken:Open:Air, Europe's biggest metal open air festival, on August 7 in Hamburg and on August 9 in Paris (France).
